A well-established organisation based in Belfast, are currently seeking an Event Manager to join their team.

This is a Full-time, permanent position.

Working hours: Full time Monday – Friday (evenings and weekends will be required when events are running)

Salary: £26,000 - £34,000 (dependant on experience)

Job Purpose:

We are looking for a competent Event Manager to oversee and organize events that will make an impact to a target audience. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of event management tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.

Essential Criteria:

• Proven experience as an Event Manager or similar role
• Knowledge of event planning and management best practices
• Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular)
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
• A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute events, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating all aspects of the event
• Work with clients to identify their needs and ensure customer satisfaction
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
• Manage event logistics, including venue selection, catering, transportation, and audiovisual equipment
• Create and manage event timelines and schedules
• Oversee event registration and ticketing
• Coordinate event marketing and promotion
• Manage event staff and volunteers
• Ensure compliance with all legal and safety requirements
• Analyze event success and identify areas for improvement
