Event Security Officer

Wright's K9 Security Services Ltd is looking for Event Security Officers (SIA Door Supervisors) to join our Events Team for a range of dates to cover in 2024.Dayshift & Nightshift Officers are required.

• Successful candidates will be given dates for availability throughout the year of 2024. Our Events Team is at the solid core of operations. We work efficiently as a unit to provide the most efficient service for our clients.

We are a small company that operates a small business. There is not a lot of paperwork. You will be working closely with the owner and other employees on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will be a hard worker who wants to learn and grow with the company.

Qualifications:

• Valid SIA Door Supervisors licence
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Good driving record
• Driver’s License (not essential)
• Customer service oriented, positive attitude, good listening skills, detail oriented, organized, and able to follow instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others and write legibly
• Ability to lift 50lbs and be able to stand for long periods of time in a non-climate-controlled environment (indoor environment)

Responsibilities:

• Follow all state and federal regulations for security, reporting, and operations (training is provided).
• Responsible for setting up surveillance equipment and reporting any suspicious activity or persons.
• Provide security at various events, including concerts, weddings, etc. (training provided).
• Protect property and personnel by maintaining a secure and well-lit building; patrolling property at all times; responding to all alarms; maintaining strict confidentiality of all information.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Type: Temporary contract

Salary: From £14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 per week
