Events Administrator

Harris Associates provides support to professional societies. We are looking for a new team member to help us organise in-person events and webinars.

You will be liaising with delegates, speakers and exhibitors; you will be involved with marketing, budgeting and committee reporting. You will attend a number of the events (all taking place around the UK).

Location

We are based on the Dartington Estate in South Devon, approximately midway between Exeter and Plymouth. 

Ideal personality and attitude

Friendly, enthusiastic, self-motivated; able to meet strict deadlines, have high attention to detail and level of literacy; keen to work in a fast-paced environment … with the ability to think on your feet.

Skills needed for the role

Office 365/Teams; website editing; numeracy; social media.  You will have a full UK driving licence.

You might be looking for your first events job – in which case this is the perfect opportunity to learn everything involved with running business–to–business events. 

You might already be in the events industry but keen to take on more responsibility and get involved with a wider range of aspects of event organising. This role will definitely give you the chance to gain in confidence dealing with a variety of different people at all levels of seniority.
