Events Administrator

I have an exciting opportunity for an Events Administrator to join my Charity Sector client on initially a 3 months contract.

This role will be located in Bishopton, working the hours of Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm. This role will offer hybrid working, with flexibility across Monday-Friday.

The salary for this opportunity is 14.22 per hour.

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

• Attend events to assist with the set-up, delivery and breakdown of materials
• Assist with the day to day co-ordination of the events including telephone answering, responding to and/or redirecting email enquiries and other administrative duties
• Coordinate all aspects of volunteer participation before, during, and after any events
• Supervise volunteers during the event, ensuring that they are fulfilling their duties effectively and providing guidance or support as needed
• Create schedule ensuring that all necessary positions are filled and that there is adequate coverage throughout the event
• Serve as the primary point of contact for volunteers, providing information, answering questions, and addressing concerns before, during, and after the event

The suitable candidate must have:

Essential

• Good administrative, organisation and interpersonal skills
• Computer literate and be able to adapt to new software

Desirable

• Experience of working within an events environment
• Experience of Raiser's Edge database
• Full UK driving licence
