Job description

We are seeking to appoint an Events and Operations Supervisor at the Whitworth Art Gallery.

Overall purpose of the role

The post holder will play a vital role in providing a high levels of customer service, operational organisation and technical (AV) support for Gallery events.

They will also assist the Buildings and Operations Manager in maintaining high standards of building presentation, maintenance, and premises security at the Whitworth Art Gallery.

You will enjoy working in a busy, demanding environment and managing events through from set up, to returning the spaces back ready for the next day’s activities.

Core working hours will be 8am – 4pm, but the role may involve up to 2 evening or weekend shifts per week.

Note it is a requirement that the post holder has or obtains a Personal Licence to oversee the sale of alcohol at events.
