LHH Recruitment Solutions is delighted to be working with our client, a leading public sector organisation in Edinburgh, to appoint an Events and Stakeholder Manager to join their team.
The Events and Stakeholder Manager will be responsible for working with various departments within the organisation as well as external partners, and to coordinate approach to external and internal events management. You will also lead the direction, development and delivery of the Stakeholder Engagement Strategy including the development of appropriate political engagements, and ensure the successful delivery of engagement plans.
The successful candidate will have experience in the planning and management of running events including managing corporate Events and engaging with external stakeholders. You must have knowledge of the workings of central and local governments, and third and community sectors as well as legislations and policy across the UK and Scotland. It is also essential to have an understanding of stakeholder analysis and techniques.
