We are now looking for an Events Fundraising Manager to help attract, engage and inspire members of the public to join us and financially support our work by taking part in our events.

This is an exciting time to join the world's leading independent conservation organisation. We are rapidly growing the fundraising team and have ambitious plans to generate significant income growth through incredible events. You will play a key role in helping achieve this goal.

As Events Fundraising Manager, you will manage and grow our third-party challenge events portfolio. This will involve working on all elements of the event cycle, including managing the production of promotional and event materials, overseeing recruitment campaigns, through to stewarding participants and leading on the day event delivery. You will support the development of an engaging supporter journey for our events fundraisers too. You will also build and maintain relationships with a range of internal and external contacts. We will look to you to continually identify to increase the number of charity places in challenge events and initiate charity of the year openings. Important will be the ability to ensure fundraising activities are of the highest standards, evaluate the effectiveness and use insight gained to improve future performance.

For this role, you must have experience in an event fundraising environment and be used to stewarding supporters. This will have given you the ability to work on multiple projects through all stages from planning and development through to evaluation. Experience in recruiting, managing and working with volunteers to deliver organisational objectives, and you will be good at overseeing projects and controlling costs. Able to inspire event participants, you will be highly organised and effective at prioritising and meeting deadlines too. You will be computer literate and able to use relevant in-house/custom systems or databases too. You will also possess strong communication, relationship building and influencing skills. Experience in social media and digital marketing would be an advantage.

If you are passionate about our world and want to build on your experience by developing a movement for nature, we would love to hear from you. Please click on the link and apply via our website by submitting a copy of your up-to-date CV and Supporting Statement to highlight what makes you a good fit for us.

Our world needs you like never before. We are the first generation to know we are destroying the world and we could be the last that can do anything about it. We are looking for people who are passionate about making it politically, socially and economically unacceptable to destroy our planet’s natural resources. We need you to join us in the fight for our world.
