We are looking for an experienced and ambitious individual to feed into the events strategy. Critical to the post holder’s success will be a positive approach and strong communication skills.
This post holder will be responsible for supporting the Challenge Events team to deliver their annual calendar of challenge events which includes our bespoke events such as the Run Frimley and Jingle Jog; Third Party events including the London Landmarks Half Marathon and our Choose your own Challenge programme.
The post holder will also provide administrative support to the Challenge Events team as well as providing support, materials and fundraising advice to all challenge events fundraisers ensuring that high quality supporter relationship management is always maintained.
The post holder will also be responsible for supporting the Events Manager in developing and implementing a programme of vibrant fundraising events. Being at the heart of our fundraising success, helping to ensure vital income for the charity is raised.
Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust provides NHS hospital services for around 900,000 people across Berkshire, Hampshire, Surrey and south Buckinghamshire.

• Ability to keep accurate and professional records of the charity’s fundraising activities.
• Creative and lateral thinker with an innovative and strategic approach to fundraising
• A good understanding of the event market and trends
• Good numeracy, literacy, and IT skills, including the use of databases, word processing, and excel spreadsheets.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects, prioritise work and meet financial deadlines.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Self-motivated and dynamic individual capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with various stakeholders.
• A passion for supporter stewardship and proven experience of maximising relationships.
• Demonstrated experience in working independently and as part of a small team.
• Experience of event fundraising within the charity sector
• Experience of organising mass fundraising events
• Previous experience in supporting volunteers, staff, and/or trustees to optimize donor relationships.
• Proficient in using fundraising databases to manage supporter journeys, monitor income, and create queries and reports while adhering to data protection rules.
