The Role
To work closely with the Learning Support Manager, Exam Concessions officer and in liaison with curriculum teams to ensure that all appropriate exam access arrangements for public and internal examinations are in place. In liaison with the Examinations Officer, ensure that the College's record-keeping and practice is fully compliant with exam board and JCQ regulations. The post holder will be required to assess learners with specific and significant learning difficulties and disabilities across the college. S/he will work as part of the Additional Learning Support team to deliver high quality assessments to inform exam concession and reasonable adjustment arrangements to meet the learning needs of a broad student body on all levels of courses, including higher education. The post holder will take an active role in maintaining individual learner records and adhering to JCQ regulations.
