SalaryExam Invigilators are needed for a very welcoming and well managed school in Newcastle. The school has a strong and supportive management team. This post is to monitor pupils during exams for short moring and afternoon exams, ensuring they all have the appropriate equipment before they start and ensure exam conditions are met. The role is roughly six working hours per day. This is a flexible role which can fit around other commitments and we can happily accommodate job shares/part time workers. This role could be ideal for a graduate or retired teacher or ex forces personnel.
This role will be recruited for in March and training and appointments made in readiness for exams across May and June which are running every day of the week.
The ideal candidate would have;
- Previous experience with exam invigilation
- An understanding of expected exam conditions
- Willingness to work with examination officers
Although these are preferred criteria, we will happily consider candidates who do not have any experience but are willing to learn via our short, free online training course.
In addition, you must:
• Provide two referees we can contact
• Have a DBS form or be prepared to obtain one
