SalaryThe Governors of Newport High School are proud to have a team of invigilators who are dedicated to ensuring every student receives the very best exam experience possible. We are now seeking to appoint more Exam Invigilators to cover exams throughout the year.
Salary - Grade 1, Scale Pt 3 - (Hourly rate £10.79)General aim• To ensure that all students are provided with a calm environment for their exams.Specific Responsibilities• Make sure the right candidates are in the right seats.• Fill out the attendance register for each exam.• Give out instructions and start/finish times.• Ensure candidates are provided with the correct materials for each exam.• Continually monitor the candidates to prevent unfair practice.• Assist candidates with any queries they may have.• Alert Exams Officer of any candidate malpractice.General Responsibilities:• To be aware of and respond appropriately to any health and safety issues, including fire alarm & fire drills.• To work as part of a team and respond to colleagues in a positive and supportive manner.
