Exam Invigilator - Lincoln
TimePlan Education are working with a Secondary School near Grimsby who are needing support during their upcoming busy summer exam period.
With exams starting in May, they are looking to build a pool of local, reliable invigilators who are flexible to work across the shifts they have available.
Exam Invigilator job duties include:
- Ensuring all candidates have an equal opportunity to demonstrate their abilities.
- Ensuring the security of the examination before, during and after the examination.
- Preventing possible candidate malpractice.
- Preventing possible administrative failures.
- Liaising with the examination officer and senior invigilator.
This school is accessible via public transport and free parking is available but being within the local area will be of benefit.
Hours of work
Bookings are usually issued in blocks of hours either for the morning session, the afternoon or a full day.
Experience to work as an Exam Invigilator
Experience isn't needed for this role as you will need to undertake our online training which will see you meet the JCQ (Joint Council for Qualification) requirements.
We do however require the individual to:
- Have an excellent command of English.
- Possess strong organisational skills.
- Have the ability to work as part of a team and to use initiative.
- Have good attention to detail.
- Be well-presented & punctual.
