About the role:

Activate Learning Exam Invigilators support the examination team in delivering paper based and computer-based examinations across our campuses.

Key responsibilities of an Exam Invigilator will be to include announcing awarding body regulations to large groups of students; quiet unobtrusive patrolling of dedicated examination room, ensuring students are obeying examination board regulations. Close visual and aural observation of students; recording student attendance; collection and return of examination paperwork plus any other duties an Exam invigilator could be expected to undertake.

Full training will be provided and guidance on the JCQ examination policies and procedures, therefore the ability to follow these procedures closely is essential.

The role requires flexible working hours, daytime and evening exams with high demand over the summer period during examination seasons; May & June.

What do you need to be a successful Exams Invigilator at Activate Learning?

Exam Invigilator candidates should have good communication and organisation skills, and proven ability to be punctual and reliable. Basic IT skills are required.
