Hourly Rate: £11.79 per hour plus £1.89 per hour holiday rate (Relief Rate £13.67 per hour)
Reading School is seeking to appoint Exam Invigilators, to assist with the smooth running of internal and external examinations. This role would work very well for someone looking for employment that doesn't require a big commitment of time.
Candidates must be available during the summer exam period which is normally from May to the end of June.
Typical working hours will vary between 3-8 hours per day across either a morning, afternoon or both.
The examination schedule is drawn up in advance and invigilator availability is taken in to consideration as part of the scheduling. Previous experience is not necessary as full training will be given.
What you’ll do:
- Prepare the examination rooms.
- Hand out appropriate question papers to candidates and distribute stationery.
- Supervise students in the examination room.
- Ensure compliance with required standards.
- Issue and collect examination papers.
- Ensure the security of the examination materials before, during and after the examinations.
