Exam Processing Team Leader

Salary: £24,300 - £30,600 (Pro rata)

Location: Cambridge, Hybrid

Contract: Fixed Term (6 Months), Part-Time Job Share (2 days a week) 

This is an exciting opportunity to join Cambridge Assessment International Education, where you will be responsible for the delivery of operational processes to agreed schedules, assure quality and standards, and implement process improvements to ensure the successful delivery of qualifications to schools and students around the world.

About the role

In this role you will lead and organise your team to ensure processes are delivered on time and meet quality standards. People management skills are essential for supervising the team, monitoring performance, and fostering professional development.

You will be an effective communicator who excels in collaborating with stakeholders. Additionally, the role involves assisting in improvement projects, contributing to post-exam reviews, and implementing procedural changes. This includes supervising both permanent and temporary staff, managing workloads, and ensuring a positive work environment. Your flexibility, including overtime during peak periods, is required.

About you

  • You will be a highly motivated, resilient individual who is trustworthy, personable and pragmatic.
  • You will possess energy, drive and enthusiasm to manage and support your team
  • You will demonstrate a learning aptitude for new processes and adapt quickly to any challenges that arise during our three examination series.

 Other key requirements include:

  • Leadership/team management experience or the ability to demonstrate the skills required.
  • Experience of working in a busy office environment, and to demanding deadlines.
  • Confident decision-making, effective prioritisation, time-management, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent business and interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal; including e-mail, letter, face to face and telephone).
  • Ideally educated to A Level (or equivalent experience).
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office products.
