Examinations Coordinator

We’ve got an exciting temporary opportunity to support a Stamford school as an Internal Examinations Coordinator responsible for planning and delivery of Internal examinations. We are looking for someone who can work independently to plan and co-ordinate the whole programme.

Key responsibilities and duties:

• Arranging for examination venues to be set up.
• Arranging for suitable Invigilator teams to be in place.
• Leading on managing the examination halls and keeping everything running smoothly during the examination themselves.
• Gathering the examination requirements from Heads of Department.
• Creating an efficient examination timetable.
• Communicating the plan to staff, students and parents.
• Ensuring that the logistics are taken care of so that students know where they need to be, and when, and in which seat.

We are looking for someone with:

• Excellent planning skills, using tools such advanced Excel to organise complex activities for large groups of students.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to gain the support of colleagues where needed.
• Ability to manage large groups of students during the starts and ends of examinations.
• Detail driven, and work with a high degree of accuracy.
• Previous experience in a similar role and a current DBS an advantage.

Start date: immediate until 03/07/24 (subject to pre-employment checks)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (would consider some flexibility around hours)

Rate of pay: £12.50 – £14.50 per hour doe.
