Job Title: Exams Access Arrangement Assessor

Position: Temporary, part time

Location: Greater Manchester

Pay: GBP40+ per hour

REED Further Education are recruiting a temporary Exams Access Arrangement Assessor in Greater Manchester.

As an Exam Access Assessor, you will be working across all areas of the College, completing Exam Access Assessments for students that have highlighted additional support needs, managing your caseload and prioritising assessments where appropriate.

Main Duties of the role;

Assess learners for potential Exam Access Arrangements (EAA) and complete assessments to support the applications made to the relevant exam board

Complete all paperwork to meet submission criteria, in line with current guidelines and within a timely manner.

To promote the EAA process as a positive experience, to make sure learners feel valued, listened to and empowered.

Work with the Assessment Team to produce information and guides for learners that enables better understanding and self-management of their dyslexia and Literacy difficulties in everyday life, learning and work.

The successful people will have the following skills and qualifications:

• Recent experience doing this role (newly qualified staff will be considered)
• A relevant SpLD Post Graduate Qualification
• Looking to start their new role ASAP
• A good understanding and commitment to Safeguarding
• An Enhanced DBS on the update service or the willingness to obtain one.
