We have developed state of the art separation machines and have a progressive in house workshop and engineering department. NRC are the link between waste processing and responsible recycling.
We are looking for an Excavator Driver to join our team in Exeter on a full time basis.
The Excavator (360) Driver role is to ensure that the various material flows from the installation are fed and processed correctly and stock piled so that the production of the installation does not stagnate. In addition to material handling, the 360 Excavator Driver assists the Installation Manager with the daily maintenance of the machines and the SOI.
Your duties will include (but are not restricted to);
- Being responsible for your own safety and that of your colleagues.
- Mix material to the correct consistency ready for processing.
- Feed the crusher at the correct volume to optimize processing.
- Perform pre-start checks on the machine.
- Keep the machine in orderly condition.
- Learn how to service and perform maintenance on the machine.
- Monitor the production process and intervene in the event of malfunctions or obstructions and inform the Installation Team Leader.
- Help clean the Installation at the end of each day.
- Help support the team regarding repairs and maintenance
We are looking for someone who has a preference for technology and working with people. You need to have no fear of heights, be or become familiar with the weighing system on the machine and be or become sufficiently familiar with the installation and the production process.

Salary: £32,500 per annum based on a 48 hour week
Hours: Full time, Monday Friday occasional Saturdays 48 hours per week
