The ideal candidate will have a passion for understanding the human mind, providing compassionate care to those with mental health disorders, and continuously learning about new advancements in psychiatric treatments.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Performing patient assessments: As a Psychologist, you would be conducting thorough assessments of individuals to understand their psychological functioning and diagnose any mental health disorders.
  • Developing individual treatment plans: You would develop personalized treatment plans based on the specific needs and goals of your clients.
  • Administering therapy and monitoring progress: You would administer therapy and monitor the patient’s progress over time.
  • Ensuring patients and their families are informed of new treatments and therapy techniques: You would ensure that patients and their families are informed of new treatments and therapy techniques.
  • Observing and interviewing the patient to find a diagnosis: You would observe and interview the patient to find a diagnosis.
  • Identifying various emotional and behavioural issues: You would identify various emotional and behavioural issues.
  • Advising the patient on the best way to solve their issues: You would advise the patient on the best way to solve their issues.
  • Enriching understanding among the patients: You would enrich understanding among the patients.
  • Research and Evaluation: You would often engage in research activities to advance the field of psychology and contribute to evidence-based practices.
  • Consultation and Collaboration: You would provide consultation services to organizations, schools, or other professionals.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Psychology degree from a recognised institution.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to make decisions in the best interest of the patient.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Compassionate and patient-centred approach to healthcare.
