About us The Division reaching across three London campuses (Bloomsbury, Royal Free and Stanmore) brings together three major research departments; Targeted Intervention, Surgical Biotechnology and Orthopaedics and Musculoskeletal Science. Within these departments are world class research centres, specialising in many different surgical and interventional specialties. The Division holds a silver award for the Athena Swan Charter which recognizes advancement of gender equality and aims for representation, progression and success for all. About the role The Division are seeking an Executive Assistant to provide proactive, effective and efficient administration support to the Division Director and Division Manager and will be a member of the Divisional Professional Services team providing administrative support to academic and research staff across the Division of Surgery and Interventional Science. The post holder will be expected to act as the first point of contact for the Director and Manager, duties will include diary management, monitoring correspondence, arranging meetings and servicing committees. The post holder will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external organisations some of which will include NHS trusts, grant awarding bodies and academic collaborators. This post is available immediately until 04th December 2024 as a fixed term contract. This post will be offered as a Secondment to UCL internal candidates. Degree holder qualification would be advantageous. Applicants must have experience of project management, organising events and servicing committees. Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a proven ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
