The role:

As an Executive Assistant at L&Q, you will be responsible for providing proactive, professional support to our Executive Group Director of Development & Sales.

To be successful in this role you must have relevant PA/EA experience gained within a fast-paced environment and at an Executive Director level. You’ll have demonstrable experience working in a highly confidential environment with high level of trust and professionalism. This role would suit someone who is composed, considered and who has exceptional organisation skills and strong attention to detail. You will need to demonstrate that you have managed a busy workload and be used to meeting deadlines. Strong computer literacy is essential as MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Teams, OneNote and Excel will all be used daily.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable with complex diary management and have a deep understanding of a Executive Group Director’s role and responsibilities, in order to prioritise and re-organise meetings. The role will also require a certain level of resilience to manage the flux in demand and workload.

In this role you will be the first point of contact for the Executive Group Directors meeting requests and emails, you will also arrange and manage meeting invitations both internally and externally including dealing with external parties, making travel arrangements as required and managing itineraries effectively.

You will support the Executive Group Director by following up on key actions and data, as well as dealing with escalations. You’ll liaise with other senior stakeholders internally to provide exemplary communication and accurate information.

This is an exciting and varied role, which would suit someone with an active interest in construction or development, however, this is not essential. In L&Q we have a team of PAs and EAs who support one another and provide cover when necessary, and therefore teamwork and a supportive nature will be required.

Duties will be varied and will include:

  •  Complex diary management
  • Email management
  • Strong language skills, verbal and written.
  • Organising travel
  • Preparation of reports for meetings
  • Preparation of papers for board meetings and committee meetings
  • Typing of emails, letters, reports and presentations
  • Expenses management
  • Departmental event management
  • Minute taking
  •  Preparation of highly confidential documents

*We are a multi-site organisation and we have offices across Manchester, London and Kent. This role will require occasional travel between our offices, but expenses will be covered. The successful candidate will need to be flexible with office attendance, and be willing to match the same office days as the Executive Group Director, as well as accompanying them with site visits at least once a month.

If you have the skills and experience listed and are interested in working for an organisation that can make a difference, then please apply without delay.
