Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food production and ensuring the highest quality culinary experience for our guests. This is a leadership role that requires strong kitchen management skills, creativity, and a passion for delivering exceptional cuisine.
Duties:
- Plan and execute menus in collaboration with the culinary team
- Supervise and coordinate all food preparation and cooking activities
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Manage inventory and control food costs
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and procedures
- Monitor quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new menu items and specials
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or hotel
- Strong knowledge of food production techniques, culinary trends, and industry best practices
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality cuisine
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
