Executive Officer - Enniskillen

Forest Service has a specific business project which is to complete 1st registration of all unregistered land in the forest estate. The main duties of the role will be to complete all necessary research and investigation associated with the ownership of the unregistered lands, including analysing property conveyances, leases and geographical data, preparation of maps, decision making, making recommendations and presentation of completed cases to management for onward transmission to the Departmental Solicitors Office. This will require the postholder to review all legal documentation, pursuing potential land encroachments and telephone and written liaison with the Departmental Solicitors Office and Land & Property Services. Attendance at management meetings.
A key part of the role is that the postholder will be required to use a Geographical Information System

Understanding and manipulating Geographic Information (GI) Experience using GI systems and digital mapping editing tools
