Job description

The role is based in the Apprenticeship Experience and Delivery team and has a primary focus on Progression and Data reporting and analysis.

The ability to engage with our learners and key stakeholders, provide support and encouraging participation in high quality Apprenticeship will be key to success .

There will be opportunity to support the wider agenda specifically in apprenticeships evaluation of experience and communications.

The successful Candidate will be expected to:

1. Promote and encourage uptake of full range of Apprenticeships to colleagues across DWP maximising Levy spend and helping to build a more professionalised workforce in line with the Civil Service Apprenticeship Strategy by:

  • Working in collaboration with the business to deliver our Agenda, with support from Profession/Capability Leads.
  • Support/manage the delivery, monitoring and management of apprenticeship end to end journey across DWP.
  • Understanding how our offer fits with business objectives.

2. Manage end-to-end tracking from apprenticeship enrolment, progression to completion, MI, query handling, finance monitoring, tracking and trend analysis by:

  • Supporting the delivery of DWP/Civil Service Apprenticeship Strategy.
  • Monitoring of end-to-end journey from nomination/sign up, through progression, to completion.
  • Engaging with all Profession/Capability Leads to ensure learners are progressing and sufficient time is being allocated towards apprenticeship.
  • Supporting business/learners through to EPA/completion.
  • Managing invoices for commercially funded learners.
  • Analysing MI for discussion with business/profession leads, helping to drive forward progression and increase overall number of completions.
  • Challenging data inaccuracies where appropriate, with focus on quality and continuous improvement at all times.
  • Monitoring learners in pipeline awaiting sign-up to ensure all providers remain within service level agreement (SLA), escalating to Delivery Office Lead (SEO) where appropriate.
  • Dealing with queries, collating risks and issues log from Capability Leads, escalating national/re-occurring issues to Delivery Office Lead.
