Since the 19th century, our crews have been risking their lives to save those who are in danger of drowning.We're looking for an Experience Teams Placement to join our team to provide excellent customer service to all RNLI supporters, enquirers, volunteers, customers and event participants to ensure the RNLI is the most loved and best supported charity.Some of the benefits- Salary GBP21,164 (dependent on experience) - Flexible working- 26 days' annual leave plus Bank HolidaysYour roleThis exciting and varied placement will primarily be working within the National Events Team providing vital support to a team of Event Managers and Event Business Partners as well as acting as our initial point of contact for event participants, supporters, and other key stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include providing admin support and fulfilment for specific events, managing internal processes (purchase orders, hire cars, travel booking, event equipment management etc.), managing event attendee lists as well as managing online registration for RNLI events.As an Experience Teams Placement, you will be tasked with focusing on the following areas:- Providing support to ensure the smooth operation of the National Events Team- Acting as the first point of contact for event participant, supporter and volunteer enquiries.- Being adaptable to move between the three Experience Teams to fulfil tasks as the business requires.About YouYou will enjoy working in a busy and often unpredictable environment and can remain calm under pressure.This role would suit someone who wants to use their organisational skills to support a team to deliver results in an exciting environment with a varied workload.A great opportunity for someone who is looking to start a career in the charity sector, have a change in career or return to the world of work.To be considered as the Experience Team Placement you will need:- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential.- Experience with SharePoint, InDesign, Microsoft AX, Dynamics 365 or Care NG would be desirable.Whilst this role is a hybrid role (home and office working) some of the responsibilities require physical activity, and there is also a requirement to travel to events on a limited basis as part of this role.Apply to join our crew today!SafeguardingThe RNLI is committed to safeguarding; ensuring the welfare of children, young people and adults at risk.
