Experienced Employment Lawyer - Partner/Path to Partner Opportunity

Think Legal Recruitment are working alongside a well-established North East regional law firm who are looking to grow their commercial practice with the hire of an experienced Employment lawyer in the County Durham area.
The right candidate will ideally have at least 5 years' post qualification experience, and for the right candidate there is an opportunity to lead the department in a Partner or Partner designate post. The team are open minded however and would also look at those with at least 2 years' PQE looking to take the next steps in their career - a fantastic opportunity if you don't see any growth or development to the mid-level at your current place of work.
There is a mix of contentious and non-contentious work and the client base is predominantly a respondent one with the firm acting for owner managed businesses, small medium enterprises, partnership and LLPs. There is a regional scope to the work.
This opportunity would suit those who enjoy business development and going out into the region, maintaining and growing existing relationships, and forging new ones.
The firm is known as being a good place to work from a culture perspective, there are no ivory towers here, and there is a genuine work-life balance you might not find in some city centre commercial firms.
As the PQE range is quite wide, so is the potential salary on offer. Whilst not Newcastle city centre salaries, the firm pays well for the area and is open to a discussion based on the candidates experience and what they can bring to the role.
