Experienced Hotel Housekeeper

The Brunswick Hotel has a job opportunity for an experienced housekeeper
able of attending to our facilities with integrity and attention to detail.
Our goal is to create a clean and orderly environment for guests that will become a critical factor in maintaining and strengthening our reputation.

Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing within corridors, reception, stairways, elevators as well as guest rooms.

Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to the high standards set by the hotel.

Notify superiors of any damages, defects and maintenance issues and to check all appliances in rooms are in working order.

Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.

Checking stock levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate such as tea, coffee, soap etc.

Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices and security procedures.

Organise your own ork schedule from the room status list, arrivals and departures.

Distribute linen, towels and room supplies using wheeled carts or by hand.

Replace dirty linen with clean items.

Inspect and turn mattresses regularly.

Store all dirty laundry in line with company policy.

Respond to guest queries and requests.

Respond to calls for housekeeping problems such as spills, broken glasses.

Deliver any requested housekeeping items to guest rooms.

Organise and restock cart at the end of the shift.

Ensure confidentiality and security of guest rooms.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper, preferably within a hotel environment.

Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.

Customer-oriented and friendly.

Prioritisation and time management skills.

Working quickly without compromising quality.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Permanent

Pay: From £11.44 per hour
