- Due to a number of new projects within Glasgow and surrounding areas, Lilium Homes Ltd are looking for a full-time experienced highly skilled Joiner/Builder. We are an SME building contractor with an excellent reputation within the domestic Scottish building market. We have continuous, guaranteed contracts across the West of Scotland areas. We work on a variety of high-end domestic and commercial projects from new builds to large extensions and internal renovations.
- The role will cover all aspects of building and joinery works. It is essential that the successful candidate is able to read architectural and engineering packs, give direction and is well organised. You will be working within a small team with labourers, apprentices and other sub-contractor trades.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENT FOR THE ROLE:
- Candidates must hold relevant trade qualification (CSCS cards)
- 10 + years of qualified on the tools experience
- Full driving licence
- Have a wide knowledge of construction and experience working alongside all trades
- Be able to read and interpret plans/technical drawings
- Work closely with subcontractors to ensure work on each project is carried out effectively and to a high standard
- Able to work alone or as part of a small team, with a focus on productivity at all times
- Candidates should have strong customer communication skills
- Quality orientated and Health & Safety compliant
