Advanced Recruit are recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturer in the area for a skilled and experienced Heavy Plate Roller.
The Company produce fabricated pipework for the Water Industries in the UK and overseas, producing thousands of tonnes per annum in Flanged and Plain ended pipe, tees, bends, reducers and specials.
The Job Role
- Long term work for right person
- Experience of using Heavy Plate Rollers rolling from 10mm up to 35mm and diameters ranging from 500mm to 2500mm
- Experience working in heavy duty manufacturing environment essential.
- Working with raw materials essential
- Working to Productivity targets
- Working and adhering to Health & Safety Regulations
- Using measuring equipment
- Liaising with commercial team.
Experience/Requirements
- Previous experience using heavy Plate Rollers.
- Worked with heavy duty mild steel.
- Be able to read technical drawings would be advantageous.
The Package
- 12 week temporary to permanent role
- 10.42 training rate, negotiable depending on experience.
- Working hours are 8:00am till 4:30pm
- Opportunity for further training such as gaining FLT and overhead crane licences.
