Experienced Private Housekeeper & PA

Come and join the family here at Healeys as one our experienced live-out Housekeeper and PA.

We are looking for a 30 hour a week housekeeper/PA who is able to look after a family residence in Flushing, Cornwall (hours desirable 9am-2pm for over 3 days and 9am-5pm for the other 2 days, Monday-Friday).

Applicants should be within a 15-minute commute to the address (Postcode TR11 5TJ)

Key duties for this role are:

• Maintaining household to a high standard; cleaning, laundry, ironing, cleaning bathrooms, changing bed linen, creating a considered environment.
• Liaising with contractors around the house and gardens.
• Cooking nutritious lunches and evening meals from scratch; preparation for outdoor eating and occasional dinner parties.
• Assessing larders and keeping stocked.
• Packing for trips as and when required.
• High standard of housekeeping for boat (provisioning of same), cars and cottage as needed.
• Able to assist with admin tasks as required; reviewing contractors' paperwork and assisting with planning for trips.
• Care of one family dog and occasional dog sitting duties (when owner is away).
• Organisation of servicing/repairs to household equipment and chimney sweeping etc.
• Direct liaising with the owner family.
• Flexibility in duties.
• Any other activity/task as and when requested by the Directors.

Work Experience

• Experience working within private homes
• Experience of high quality PA/Admin work

Skills

• Be proficient in preparing meals and food preparation
• Skills on Word and Excel

Qualifications

• Food hygiene certificate
• First Aid
• Clean driving licence

Personal Qualities

• Display a polite, professional and discreet manner at all times
• Be highly organised and able to self manage
• Have high attention to detail

Hours: Part time to be flexible across five days and two evenings per week.

References will be essential.
