We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Experienced Sewing Machinist to work for our friendly, family run client based in Grimethorpe, Barnsley. You will be working towards a permanent job role.
Details:
- £20,319 per annum
- Monday to Thursday 7:30am – 4:30pm, 2pm finish Friday
- No weekends
- Excellent career progression for the right candidate
- Permanent position available
Duties Include:
- Use of a sewing machine
- Changing machine setting depending on the product and job requirements
- Cutting and measuring of textile materials
- Quality checking various textile products for any imperfections and rectifying these where necessary
- Ensuring products are completed to the highest standard
- Various other duties as and when required
Skills Required:
- Applicants must have previous experience working with a sewing machine
- Experience within an industrial or textiles environment would be a benefit but not essential
- Brilliant eye for detail required
- Positive attitude towards learning new skills
