The Connected Persons Assessment Team is made up of two social work teams, who have responsibility for the assessment of Connected Persons who are either being assessed to be, private foster carers, foster carers or Special Guardians. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking a range of these assessments.
The team is committed to providing high levels of support to Connected Persons Foster Carers and Special Guardians and to promoting timely permanence for children in their care. The team works closely with Early Support Services, Assessment and Intervention, and Fostering to include perspective carers with support groups, social events as well as working to develop and extend the training offer to these carers.

Travel is an essential part of this job and therefore it would be extremely difficult for you to do your job effectively if you did not use a car for all or most of the time. It is essential that you hold a full and valid driving licence and it is expected that you will either use a council vehicle or your own car.
