ABOUT THE SCHOOL
Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced TA/HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) to work at a primary school in the Bishop's Stortford area to start as soon as possible, this will be on a part-time basis on a Mon,Tues,Thurs and Fri 8.30-3.30
The successful candidate will need to be experienced due to having to lead the class a few afternoons a week.
Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
* Location - Bishop's Stortford
* Position - TA/HLTA
* Type of work - Higher Level Teaching Assistant, providing support across school and covering lessons
* Contract or position start date - ASAP
* Full time/part time --Part Time
* Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £80 per day
* Hours - 8:30 am - 15:30pm : Mon , Tues, Thurs, Friday (term time only)
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience of working in a support role in primary school
- Confident to lead a class a few afternoons a week
- GCSE English and Maths grade 'C'
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
* Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide two professional child related references
