Salary: £23,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience level) 

Job Location: England Wide Predominantly in the Northwest of England.

 

The Company

 

They are a leading service and maintenance provider in the Commercial Pool water treatment industry.

 

If you have experience in the diagnostics and repairs of Commercial Pool plant, chemical dosing, commercial UV disinfection, and even moveable floors then this is the company for you.

 

You will be working on a wide variety of Commercial Pools, water features and leisure centres.

 

Your Duties will be as follows:

 

  • Chemical installations and servicing (you may require additional training).
  • Ideally familiar with the following chemical controllers Dr Kuntze, Siemens Ezetrol, Bayroll, Prominent.
  • Granudos Batching Unit.
  • UV disinfection installations and servicing (you may require additional training) Ideally familiar with Hanovia and ATG/Evoqua units.
  • Liaising with customers
  • Filling in all engineers reports and service check lists.
  • Taking part in pool filtration pipework installations and refurbishments.
  • Plastic Welding and Fabrication work.
  • Working under the direction of the Technical Director on site.
  • Mechanical and Hydraulic servicing of moveable floors (additional training required).
  • Developing new products
  • Keeping all work areas clean and tidy at all times including cleaning up.
  • Filtration Plant refurbishment projects.
  • Filtration maintenance projects including work in balance tanks and duct areas.
  • Moveable floor refurbishment and installation projects.
  • Training/supervising other less experienced personnel as and when the need arises.
  • As a Senior Engineer, we would like you to actively engage in supervising and training apprentices when required.
  • You may also be required to perform such other and/or additional duties within your skill and competence as the Business develops and may require.
  • Looking after your company vehicle.
  • Ability to diagnose faults and successfully carry out repairs.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
  • Be self-motivated, have good communications skills and have a willingness to take on new challenges
  • Ability to adhere to health & safety practices and procedures 
  • The ability to work as a team or individually.

 

Requirement.

 

  • Full UK driving license 
  • CSCS Card
  • Familiarity and potentially hold a certificate in confined space works.
  • You will require a DBS check.

 

 

We occasionally ask people to work weekends and often there are project locations where it is better to stop out overnights hotels and overnight expenses are paid under HMRC guidelines.

 

Job Type:             Full Time

Hours:                   Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week due to the nature of the business we also have to work nights on some projects.
