Job description

About the Role

As Operations Manager you will manage all activities ongoing in the Experiential team warehouse and manage the team members who work within it. You will have oversight and responsibility for all processes relating to the day to day smooth running of an efficient warehouse and the successful ongoing delivery of the POS, Experiential and Storage projects.

Key Accountabilities: 

Daily Process Management

  • Daily POS – Creating pick lists and labels. JDE – making sure stock is being drawn down correctly. 
  • Extra POS – Bulk orders for JDW, Brakes etc. Booking in with depots, booking courier
  • Goods In/Out Processes – general overview of all movements in & out. Label creation for GO.
  • Physical view on stock levels, coordinating with administration on orders required, BBE dates etc
  • Managing communications with regular partners – ComOps, I&G, FedEx etc.

Special project Management

  • Liaising with wider team on processes/ advice/ supplies
  • Co-ordination of packing, shipping and labelling
  • Finance/ stats – keeping or generating records of storage, package numbers for I&G, prize pools and POS drives
  • Communication with suppliers and couriers on extra uplifts or capacity needed

Team Management

  • Warehouse team – regular checks on POS packing. Knowledge of kit, location & condition.
  • Ad-Hoc team – manging teams on Pick & Packs and van packing
  • Administration team.
  • Wider Marketing/Event teams – managing expectations, problem solving
  • Line Management of FT Warehouse Operatives – scheduling of annual leave in line with requirements, reporting regularly to Head of Experiential on team

Health & Safety Management

  • Ensuring all tasks carried out in warehouse are H&S compliant
  • Keeper of all records relating to H&S and insurances on all warehouse materials
  • Reporting to Head of Experiential and Wider Business partners on H&S i.e. weekly reports

About you 

  • Organisation – keeping several documents up to date and supplying information in a regimented fashion is essential
  • Detailed Document Creation - good excel skills will be required to keep documents in order and to be able to create documents to ensure detail is shared in best and most easily accessible way
  • Problem Solving – being able to identify and solve issues before they become a bigger issue with regards to stock levels, POS deliveries and Kit Management.
  • Strong communication and a can-do attitude will be subsequently imperative to the successful running of this role
  • Team Leadership – overall leader in the management of warehouse operatives and any staff working in the warehouse
