Export Administrator

Due to continued growth our Chesterfield site are now recruiting for an Export Administrator to join their friendly team on a full time permanent basis. 

Working hours: 4 on 4 off, 6am-6pm. 

Salary: £25,529 per annum.

As an Export Administrator you will provide accurate administration for a busy export department. Supporting the onsite operations team by administering the customer inbound and outbound bookings, ensuring that the documentation for export is accurate and that the relevant clearances are obtained and supporting other administrative tasks.

Key Duties of an Export Administrator: 

• Collating and processing export documentation including Dangerous Goods Notes.
• Obtaining export clearances.
• Liaising with the customer and MV2 Operations and Stock departments, including sending reports, responding to queries and requests.
• General administration paperwork filing.
• Administering the Inbound and Outbound booking schedules.
• Ensure an understandable and accurate handover is given at the end of each shift rotation.
• Escalating any issues to the Shift Manager.

• Previous experience of working in Export and a high-level administrative role.
• The ability to prioritise workload without supervision.
• Excellent communication skills in order to deliver accurate information.
• Outstanding Customer Service skills.
• Proficient in computer literacy including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations (desirable).
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to solve problems methodically and actively seek resolutions.
