We are looking for an International Shipping Administrator to join this small, busy team in Watford. This is a brand new position so initially it is a contract for 12 months but is expected to go permanent. This is a very exciting time to join this organisation as they envisage growing the business significantly in the next year.
Your day to day duties include processing all orders for international customers and contract manufacture customers onto their system. Producing commercial invoices according to customer/country requirements. Liaising with the warehouse team regarding shipment requirements. Booking containers with freight forwards and arranging container collections. Organising import approvals, producing shipping notes and arranging freight insurance where required. You will also handle customer queries swiftly and efficiently and have the ability to build relationships.
You will possess strong (intermediate level) Microsoft skills, have some knowledge of incoterms and be an all round excellent administrator.
In return the company offer a salary of 31000 - 34000, free car parking and the opportunity for hybrid working (min 2 days in office) after training.
