Export Coordinator

We are partnering with a freight forwarding organisation who are seeking an Export Coordinator to join their team in Basildon.
This role will facilitate the smooth running of their global export operations.
Responsibilities;

• Manage and oversee the entire process of export consolidation, including handling LCL bookings, LCL quotations, arranging LCL collections, and trunking cargo from outer depots.
• Execute export customs entries in compliance with international regulations, ensuring accurate and timely submission of required documentation.
• Facilitate container bookings with shipping lines, optimizing container allocation, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure efficient container utilization.
• Effectively communicate with depots, shipping lines, and other relevant parties to send load lists, arrange collections, and coordinate the smooth flow of export activities.
• Handle all aspects of export documentation, including but not limited to pre-alerts, manifests, and other necessary paperwork, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in export logistics and consolidation services.
• Proficient understanding of LCL bookings, quotations, container management, and export customs procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, demonstrating flexibility and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a team.
