EXPORT ROAD FREIGHT CLERK

My clients a global freight forwarder, seeking an experienced Export ROAD FREIGHT CLERK to join their busy team in Manchester on a 8 month contact.

Duties would include:

• Handling ROAD FREIGHT export operations
• Manifest daily export trailers
• Sending pre-advice
• Monitoring shipments start-finish
• Chasing and processing POD's
• Transport planning for same day collections
• Liaising with hauliers to provided quotations for special collections/ deliveries
• Updating customers
• Invoicing
• General admin/ data entry

Skills required:

• Experience handling ROAD FREIGHT exports
• Knowledge of European groupage
• Ability to work well under pressure
• PC literate
• Good customer service skills

Working hours:

• Monday - Friday 0900am - 1730pm
