External Audit Senior

Audit Senior - Located in Preston, Bolton, Blackburn or Leeds. Salary up to £38k,
Accountancy practice position. Flexible/Hybrid working available.
We are a working with three accountancy practices who are providing exceptional audit, tax, and advisory services across north of the UK. Due to their continual growth they wish to expand their audit team by recruiting more Audit Seniors.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage audit engagements, ensuring compliance with UK regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
• Plan and execute audit procedures, including risk assessment, testing of controls, and analytical procedures.
• Review financial statements for accuracy and completeness, providing valuable insights to clients.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members, fostering their professional development.

Skills and Qualifications:

• ACA or ACCA qualification preferred or finalist.
• Minimum 3 years of External Audit experience within a UK public accounting firm.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing standards, GAAP, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
