Experience as a Finance professional with a strong working knowledge of MLAR / Mortgage reporting requirements essential: EIR modelling and hedge accounting experience useful.
The role is responsible for the delivery of various aspects of key external & regulatory reporting, including Hedge Accountings, Effective Interest Rate/Net Interest Margin & MLAR Reporting.
A hugely broad role with the opportunity to work remotely.
The position is a mix of BAU and project/process improvement work and will help strengthen the financial control environment by not only improving insights/analysis but also re-engineering & automating existing processes. Particular focus will be to work autonomously, suggesting & delivering on improvements to current processes
Essential:
Finance professional with recognised accountancy qualifications, post qualification experience in a relevant role and ideally with a strong working knowledge of MLAR reporting requirements
- Strong Technical knowledge and mortgage experience
- Process improvement experience.
- Strong analytical, reporting and mathematical skills.
- Financial Control experience such as month end reporting and reconciliations.
- Strong communication skills (written and oral) with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the business. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and self-motivated.
- Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Dealing with external stakeholders such as auditors, banking
- Knowledge of cash management and financial systems - Oracle or similar.
