ROLE
Fire Safety Engineer – Fire Strategy, Surveying & Consultancy
Working as a Fire Safety Engineer.
Working from home and travelling to perform on site inspections.
Producing reports in line with regulations.
Advise on building design and materials to reduce the risk of fires starting and spreading.
Producing on External Wall analysis, fire strategies, fire risk assessments, and 3D evacuation modelling.
Based in the North East and West - Liverpool, Carlisle, Salford, Manchester, Lancaster, Wigan, Warrington, Durham, Middlesborough, Darlington, Newcastle, Redcar and Cleveland
EXPERIENCE
Fire Safety Engineer – Fire Strategy, Surveying & Consultancy
Ideally you will have previously worked as a fire engineer performing External Wall surveys.
Alternatively you could have RICS membership and experience surveying or be in a building control role.
You should be familiar Fire Safety regulations and their application to fire strategies.
Any experience working in structural engineering, architecture or surveying would be beneficial to your application.
It would be advantageous to have a MSc or PhD in Fire Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building Surveying, Structural Engineering or a related field.
