Extrusion Operator

A brilliant opportunity has arisen for an Extrusion Operative to join an established and successful leading food manufacturing organisation based in the Goole area. This is a fabulous business to work who truly values their staff

This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary and a great Monday - Friday shift pattern

The salary is between £39,500 including a generous shift premium

As the Extrusion Operative you will be require to;

• Carrying out pre start checks on the line as defined in the start-up check sheet
• Complete all Quality Assurance and Health and Safety checks
• Identify and minimizing downtime of the extruder, logging accurately and communicating any down time
• Carrying out quality tests during production
• Ensuring the line is supplied with the appropriate raw ingredients
• Ensuring all hygiene tasks are carried out
• Ensuring all maintenance of the equipment is undertaken to the required standard
• Reducing wastage whilst ensuring legal compliance of weights and measure
• Being proactive towards health and safety

To be considered for the Extrusion Operative role you will;

• Have previous extrusion experience
• Ideally with in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment
• Ability to work at speed while maintaining accuracy
• Accurately complete all shift paperwork
• Have a good knowledge of quality assurance, ideally within a food environment
