EYC Early Years Childcare Lecturer (Fixed-term)

£28,840 - £35,541 0.4 FTE (Fixed-term until 31/07/24, 14.8 Hours per week, 52 Weeks per year)
We're looking for somebody excited about Early Years Childcare to bring our curriculum to life and provide an engaging learning experience!
You'll need to be able to deliver content to learners at different levels, providing pastoral support and while also enthusiastically working with colleagues to design & deliver exciting new T-level qualifications!
With time dedicated to CPD and plenty of opportunities to work closely with external partners in the sector to help develop the curriculum, apply now if you're looking for a rewarding career in a forward-thinking department with a healthy work culture!
Day-to-day you will be responsible for:

• Teaching EYC courses at all levels to a wide range of learners
• Working to develop new T-level qualifications in EYC-related fields
• Networking with external partners to ensure our courses stay relevant to industry
• Championing our commitment to putting students first
• Promoting our values of fairness, respect & equality

After your first year with us, success would look like:

• All students achieved or exceeded their target grade through exciting and dynamic teaching, learning and assessment
• Have built student skills to a high level in preparation for progression to Higher Education or Work
• Enthusiastically engaged with our dedicated continuous professional development programme to expand your education skills and further your FE career

• Hold a relevant high-level EYC-related qualification and industry experience
• Have a teaching qualification or be willing to work towards within 12 months of starting (college funded!)
• Be passionate about working with learners and shaping the future of the sector
