A Primary School in theThornbury area of South Gloucestershire are currently looking for a full timeReception class teacher to join their team. You will be joining a team ofstrong and supportive staff members dedicated to providing a curriculum that equipschildren with the essential knowledge necessary to start their formaleducation. This School is a 2 form entry school faith school, which has a highfocus on developing children\'s personal and social skills through values-basedlearning.
Your newrole
You will be working as afull time Reception class teacher on a full-time basis. Good knowledge of theEYFS curriculum is desirable but not essential, as you will be provided withtraining necessary for you to carry out the role as successfully as you can.Ability to assess children\'s knowledge in a play based setting and the use of baseline assessment will be an essential part of your role which willhelp hold you accountable for pupil progress within the classroom. While thisrole requires patience and a good level of behaviour management, ECTs arewelcome to apply as long as you are passionate about teaching young childrenand are willing to learn.
Whatyou'll need to succeed

• Have teaching experience within the last 5 years
• Be confident in KS1
• Hold a UK Qualified Teacher Status
• Good Knowledge of the English National Curriculum
