Job Description
The school are seeking a passionate and experienced Early Years Teacher to join their friendly and welcoming team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to their youngest learners, ensuring they have a strong foundation for their future academic and personal growth.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment where children feel confident and excited to learn.
- Assess and monitor children’s progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Implement creative and innovative teaching methods to inspire a love of learning.
- Support the development of social, emotional, and communication skills.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of children’s development and achievements.
- Collaborate with other staff members to promote a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
Successful candidates will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in Early Years education.
- EYTS – Early Years Teacher Status
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and its implementation.
- A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to creating an outstanding learning experience.
- An understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
