Hays Education are working with an outstanding primary school based in Erawash on the Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire border who are looking for a number of Teaching Assistants to join their friendly and welcoming team within EYFS/KS1.
Your New Role
The school are currently looking for a number of Teaching Assistants to join their welcoming team across EYFS/KS1. The vacancies range from full-time, to 4 days a week and even a morning-only role. All roles are on a long-term/ongoing basis and could be a great opportunity for the right candidate to build on their experience supporting nurture groups as well as working on a 1:1 or full-class basis. Within this role, you will be expected to perform general Teaching Assistant duties and support the class teacher where necessary to ensure the successful running of the classroom.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed within this role, you must have recent and relevant experience within a classroom/nursery/EYFS setting and have an understanding of the EYFS curriculum. You will have a positive can-do attitude and have a passion for supporting teaching and learning. You must be flexible in your approach and confident managing challenging behaviour.
