The Company

The company is a specialist in the design and manufacturing industries, focusing on various sectors such as Plastic & Rubber, Chemicals, Composites, Metal powder, and more. Located in Aldridge, they are actively seeking an experienced Fabricator/ Fitter to join their team.

The Role

A FabricatorFitter is now required to join the team on a full-time basis Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30 (Overtime available).

You will take responsibility for:

• Fitting, Fabrication & Assembly of bespoke machines & hydraulic units
• Cutting, Drilling, and tapping.
• Bending Hydraulic tubes
• Occasional Site Work

What you need

It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:

• Fabricating Experience - ideally 5 years
• Proven track record of fitting bespoke equipment
• MIG or TIG Welding experience would be advantageous

Other DESIRABLE skills include:

• Additional experience of electrical fitting would be desirable but not essential

What is on offer

On offer is the chance to join a specialist company within the design and manufacture industry who offer stability due to the long term contracts they have to fulfil with their customers. You will also benefit from a rate of £16.00ph-£18.00ph(£33,000 - £37,000 annually) Hours are 40 hours per work, 7:30am-4:30pm Monday-Friday plus there is overtime available.
