We are expanding the team & looking for Fabricator/Welders to join us in Peterhead.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform fabrication and welding tasks using MMA, MIG, and TIG welding techniques.
- Interpret engineering drawings, sketches and specifications to fabricate components accurately.
- Operate welding and fabrication equipment, safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and company HSE policies and procedures at all times.
- Participate in offshore and international projects as required, demonstrating adaptability to varying environments and project scopes.
You will have:
- Time served apprenticeship and/or proven experience as a Fabricator Welder, preferably either in workshop, offshore or international setting.
- Proficiency in MMA, MIG, and TIG welding techniques.
- Familiarity with DNV 2.7-1 fabrication standards and procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and sketches accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in fabrication and welding tasks.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Previous experience working with overhead cranes would be an advantage, but training will be provided
- Current forklift operator license would be preferable, but training can be provided
- Willingness to travel for offshore and international projects when required.
