Job Description Summary:

To act as site contact for both internal and external customers regarding site related concerns and issues, ensuring service requirements are delivered to support primary operations departments and ensure continuity of services. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and delivering opportunities for cost reduction within current contract agreements. The role encompasses the management of all site service requirements with the goal of implementing world class methodologies.

Job Description

  • Agree service level agreements with partners for site and drive continuous performance improvement through SLA performance data.
  • Ensure that management and customer reports are provided on time, metrics are reviewed with contract leads, and relevant information is shared with internal collaborators.
  • Support the quality and delivery levels of site services are maintained and improvements are implemented to meet company QRMP standard requirements.
  • Ensure all contract activity is delivered to service levels outlined within the SLA agreements.
  • Provide technical support as a key member of the crisis management team.
  • Site lead for Legionella control and reporting.
  • Reports directly to the Engineering Manager, and will have leadership and management responsibility for a Facilities Engineer.
  • Build positive relationships with the key customer groups (production and manufacturing, food safety and quality teams, engineering) on site to resolve performance issues as they arise.
  • Support production and engineering asset owners to identify and implement improvement initiatives.
  • Cultivate efficient supplier relationships that provide maximum value and harbour a one team approach.
  • This role is accountable for spend within the site facilities portfolio.
  • The role has a 1 to 3 year planning horizon and a 1-year PDCA cycle to ensure the various contract performance metrics initiatives are delivered.

Skills & Abilities

  • Experience of leading teams to deliver agreed targets is crucial, preferably in an engineering capacity.
  • Experience of implementing strategic improvement projects, both revenue and capital.
  • Ability to develop positive relationships internally, and with supplier groups.
  • Self-motivated, and thrives in teams within a fast-moving environment.
  • Analytical skills, a keen attention to detail, and a good understanding of supplier relation management.
  • Advanced Excel and data management capability is not essential, but definitely preferred!
